OAK MEADOW STUDENT COUNCIL OVERVIEW
The Student Council is the core of the student body of Oak Meadow International School. A student council is a democratically elected organization of students. Each student council member fulfills a designated duty within the council, and the group collaborates to organize activities and address challenges. Resolve issues and cultivate leadership skills by executing advantageous actions throughout the academic year.
Student councils enable students to engage in the educational process, providing them with benefits in the following ways:
· It will provide a platform for active participation in education.
· It will enhance students' social ideals and transform them into responsible citizens.
· It will motivate students to demonstrate activism, involvement, discovery, discourse, and debate to revitalize the school atmosphere.
· It will enhance students' time management and planning abilities to foster self-confidence and elevate academic success.
· It will cultivate a spirit of collaboration among students and the many organizations comprising the school community: educators and parents.
· It will demonstrate that all students, regardless of gender, possess the capability to lead initiatives beneficial to their peers, the institution, and the community.
The school council consists of the following eight members:
Executive Core: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
Chairpersons: Arts and Social, Sports, Science and Technology, Peer Support
The school council incorporates clubs and organizations that will allow all students to join and show their creativity, interest, and leadership.
