Introduction
Oak Meadow International School Phuket (OMIS) is proud to introduce the OMIS Learning Center, a strategic educational program designed to extend learning beyond the traditional classroom and provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop academic excellence, leadership, creativity, wellbeing, environmental responsibility, and global competencies.
The initiative establishes eight specialized Centers of Excellence that allow students to explore their passions, strengthen practical skills, and engage in real-world learning experiences. Through these centers, OMIS aims to create future-ready learners who are confident, adaptable, innovative, and prepared for success in a rapidly changing world.

OMIS Centers of Excellence
1. Football Academy
The Football Academy serves as OMIS's flagship sports development program, providing students with professional coaching, competitive opportunities, and pathways to athletic excellence while maintaining strong academic standards. Key Objectives

Sports Scholarship Program
As part of the Football & Athletic Development Academy, OMIS offers Sports Scholarships to recognize and support talented student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional sporting ability and a commitment to representing the school.
Eligibility
The Sports Scholarship is available to students who demonstrate:
• Outstanding athletic ability and potential
• Strong commitment to training and personal development
• Positive attitude, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Potential to represent Oak Meadow International School in competitions and sporting events
Scholarship Benefits
Sports Scholarship awards range from 20%–100% tuition fee reduction for the curren t academic year.
Scholarship levels are determined based on the student's sporting achievements, skill level, commitment, and overall contribution to the school's athletic program.
Outstanding performance and continued commitment may result in increased scholarship support in future academic years.
Scholarship Renewal Requirements
The Sports Scholarship is reviewed and renewed annually, subject to the student meeting the following requirements:
Training Attendance
• Attend scheduled training sessions 2–3 times per week.
• Absences must be approved by the coach or school administration.
Competition Participation
• Participate actively in all assigned school sporting events, competitions, tournaments, and academy activities.
Academic Achievement
• Maintain a minimum overall academic average of 70% or above throughout the academic year.
Conduct and Sportsmanship
• Demonstrate positive behavior and exemplary sportsmanship.
• Show respect towards coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, staff, and school policies at all times.
Scholarship Review
Failure to meet any of the scholarship requirements may result in:
• Scholarship probation
• Reduction of scholarship percentage
• Suspension of scholarship benefits
• Revocation of the Sports Scholarship
The final decision regarding scholarship continuation, adjustment, or withdrawal rests with the school administration and the Football Academy Committee.
Future Development
OMIS aims to expand its athletic scholarship program and establish partnerships with local, national, and international sporting organizations to create additional opportunities for student-athletes to excel both academically and athletically.
